Commercial Window Tint – Frequently Asked Questions
Can window film be removed and reapplied in a different area?
Yes, it can be removed, but no, it cannot be reapplied. Window films are designed for one-time use. So while they are removable, they cannot be reused. We can, however, help you find a similar film to match.
Will window films damage my windows?
No. This is not something you have to worry about. Despite what you may have heard or read online, window films do not damage windows. However, it is important to use the right type of film for the glass you have. That’s why professional installation is always recommended.
Will window film make my interior dark?
Most modern window films are designed to provide high levels of light transmission. While they do provide the benefits of reducing glare and UV rays, they do not block natural light. The only exception is a blackout film which is designed to block light completely, usually for the purpose of creating privacy.
Is there a window film you can see out but not in?
Yes. You can use a reflective film to achieve this effect. All that anyone will see on the outside is a reflected appearance of your property’s surroundings, just like a mirror.
